Snapshot of Mom's Connection Beta 2

So, I have been racking my brain for 3 years on how to make Mom’s Connection the best site for women online, and by George, I think I am finally getting somewhere.

Keep in mind, this is not MY site, it belongs to my wife, and she is currently using it to promote her Mary Kay business. She probably doesn’t want me saying that, but whatever.

Ok, so I created the mockup, I sliced it, created an HTML file, and now I’m in the process of converting it into a WordPress theme. You can view the static version of the new demo site here: http://nicknorris.net/momscon. I hope that you like it. I’ll let you all know when it goes live.

Here are a few things that I will be integrating into the site:

  • WordPress Integration
  • MooTools Horizontal Navigation Menu
  • MooTools Hover Tooltips
  • Dynamic Theme Changing Button (Change Color Scheme on the fly)
  • Shopping Cart Functionality
  • Custom Span Classes

There are a few other things that I would like to add, but I don’t know if I will have enough time. If you have any ideas or comments, please let me know.
