Phoenix Valet – Go Green Valet

by Nick Norris on January 13, 2010

So a good friend of mine owns a valet company, and I wanted to tell you about it. His name is Bobby Green, and he is shaping up to be quite the business man.

His company Go Green Valet has been in business for around 2 years. In his short time as a business owner, he has won awards for being the best valet company in phoenix. Bridal Magazine, a nationally syndicated magazine, called Go Green Valet the BEST wedding valet company of 2009.

How does a business owner of only 2 years create this big of a stir around the industry? Well, I know Bobby, and I’ll tell you.. Bobby has incredible networking skills, and a strong work ethic. I remember when we were 17 years old, Bobby was working a full-time job, going to school, and taking care of his little brother Pat (who at the time was around 8 or 9 years old). Not to mention, he was the only 17 year old (other than myself) who lived on his own and payed his own bills. The dude has ambition and drive like no other. This drive and ambition translates well for a business owner who wants to get his name out. It allows him to connect with his customers and provide them with service beyond what they could ever hope for.

Like I always say, service is the key to success, and it’s ambition that pushes the doors open. Go Green Valet can offer top quality service and care for all of your guests.

Also, Go Green Valet has been dedicated to environmental awareness for a very long time. They offer free parking for hybrids, amongst other things. Find out how you can do your part by hiring the best valet company in arizona.

Git Hawt! A New Year is Coming!

by Nick Norris on December 31, 2009

So for the past few months, I have been knee-deep in all things affiliate marketing. You probably already noticed how busy I have been based on my lack of new posts. I have seen the upsides and downsides of affiliate marketing, and let me tell you,  being and affiliate marketer is insane. Just though I’d let you know.. in case you were wondering… why I have NO IDEA where 2009 went.

It feels like just yesterday we were celebrating the end of 2008 and hoping for a better 09. After that, it’s all a blur.

Here’s what I remember:

I remember working for American Express until July (5 years over). I worked a crappy schedule that allowed no free time, so my time was consumed by my job. That sucked! I miss everyone I used to work with, but I don’t miss what I did. I’m not saying that I’m above working at a call center, shit, not even close. I’m just saying that I think about what I used to get put through was not very fun.

I remember 3 out of 4 of my Vegas trips.

I remember my wife getting a free car from Mary Kay.

I remember my Disney Trip and hanging out with the family.

I remember spending time with close family friends Shane and Julie. We pretty much see them EVERY weekend, and every weekend is a good time.

I remember losing 30 pounds and working out every day. Then I remember gaining 15 pounds back, WTF!

I remember starting a new job at MCPMedia. It’s been pretty awesome.

I also remember Noah’s first t-ball game and the first time I took my boys bowling.

So, with all this in mind, my resolution for 2010 is to slow down and relax. I need to appreciate everything around me. It seems like the older I get, the faster the time flies. I wake up at 6:30am every day, and I don’t go to sleep until 2am, so I have time to squeeze in some appreciation for what I have. I’m not going to promise myself anything, I’m just going to enjoy what I already have, and what I didn’t have enough time for in 09.

That’s all….

Digital Point Forums Let Me Down

by Nick Norris on December 14, 2009

I’ve been a member on digitalpoint forums for years (at least 3 years, but it may be as many as 5). I have spent countless hours contributing to the community, and countless hours reading through threads to sharpen my own skills. I have been rated by other users as a guy who has helped other members figure out problems, and as an expert in SEO. In fact, I get at least 7 or 8 DMs every day asking me SEO questions. Well, that is until today, when they banned me for posting a thread in the wrong category. Seriously… THE WRONG FRIGGIN CATEGORY!

If you don’t know what digitalpoint is: it’s a forums based community for webmasters and web marketers. There has been a HUGE increase in spam on the forums lately, but I guess it just comes with the territory. Little did I know that a simple mis-categorization of a topic would result in my being banned. The thousands of contributions that I have made now leave me feeling like a spammer to the only REAL forums community that I frequent.

Normally, I would contact a forum moderator and try to have the issue resolved, but eff it. I don’t even care anymore. I’m over trying to do the whole “scratching back” thing. The only back I feel like scratching is my own.

Sorry, I just had to vent!
