Vegas Vacation – No New Blogs for a While
Hey there all my loyal readers. As both of you have probably been disappointed with the amount I have been blogging lately, I can assure that it is not without cause. I’m a busy guy, and my blog is one of those things that I have a tendency of neglecting first, but that’s not what I enjoy doing. I love blogging, and when I neglect my blog, I feel like I am also neglecting my readers, so I’m sorry for that. That is why I am giving you forewarning this time.
So, the wifey and I (along with 20 of our closest friends) will be setting sail to Vegas for a few days starting Friday. We are renewing our wedding vows in hopes to show the world that we still like each other, and we do; otherwise we would not be renewing the vows… We are also planning on having a fun time with our closest friends who couldn’t make it to the original nuptuals five years ago. It’s going to be a great time fo sho.
There were supposed to be a few more people coming, but due to my lack of planning skills and my horrible follow-up, the invitations for many turned into last-minute bargaining, and unfortunately, I just didn’t have enough baraining power to get a few people to go. I feel like a shlub, but no worries, we will do this again in another 5 years, so consider this your official invitation.
So, you are probably not wondering why we chose Vegas for our remarriage. I know it’s a far cry from the original prayer garden in which we originally said our “I-do’s.” Even if you are not wondering, I will give an explanation, because you should probably know. We chose Las Vegas because Jenni wanted to get married in the Little White Chapel (their website sucks, so I may try to hustle a design job [wishful thinking]). She actually booked the same room that Britney Spears got married in, so that will be our claim to fame in the future. I actually hope that we see some celebs while we’re there, because the wifey would be so stoked (probably won’t happen).
Anywhoo, that’s all I got for now, so check back in a week or so for some new blog posts, or you can read my vox blog for live video blogs and posts from my phone while we are there (http://speakeasy602.vox.com).
