If there’s one thing in this world that really grinds my gears (Peter Griffin reference), it’s ignorant hatred toward an ideal, or a set of beliefs. I have been finding myself in the middle of a common debate about Healthcare reform and our constitution; the perverbial rock and hard place scenario. So, with this in mind, I want to share a few key-points as I know them, and let you hammer out what I’m trying to say.
The Pro-Healthcare Debate: Healthcare reform is going to save lives. People that were refused insurance will now be able to get insurance coverage regardless of pre-existing conditions. It’s a humanitarian effort.
The Anti-Healthcare Debate: It’s irresponsible. It’s going to cost taxpayers a lot of money. Healthcare reform is going to drive up healthcare costs making it more expensive to select which coverage is best for us.
Now it’s time for some tea
But first, I want to point out some a couple things. The Constitution says that we have rights as voters, and congress has a distinct level of power. I don’t think (I may be wrong) that any “unconstitutional” actions have been done. I was reading (or trying to read) the constitution, and aside from it being ABSOLUTELY BORING, I didn’t see anything wrong with what’s going on right now, especially in the power of congress section in section 8. But whatever, I’m not cool enough to decipher what the constitution even says for crying out loud. But what I do know, is that the Tea Party movement bases the large portion of their fight on the Constitution, and making sure that they uphold everything within.
I may be completely wrong about this whole topic, but who cares. I am going to play the ignorant card and accept things as they are. I’m not going to fight for something that I don’t know anything about. I’m also not going to fight against it. I’m also not going to educate myself on it (hence the ignorance), because I don’t care. Seriously, I don’t..

I don’t think it’s any big mystery that Chin is a communist country, but it seems like Google has hit them pretty hard by pulling out of the Chinese market. They sent a bunch of news outlets their reporting guidelines, and damn, they are strict.
Since Google made the announcement, other companies are pullin in the ropes also. Godaddy stopped selling china domains last week. Some crazy stuff. I just hope it doesn’t do anything to jeopardize our relationship with China on a political level.
Anyways, that’s just my 2 cents. I don’t really care, I just thought this was an interesting topic. PEACE!

I have been rediculously pumped on the show Lost lately. If you don’t know what the show is about, I’ll save you the reading time and just say, it’s too hard to explain at this point. Get on netflix, watch the first 5 seasons, and catch yourself up. It is the greatest show ever.
Last night’s episode was one of the best yet (definitely the best since the infamous season 2 where the others were given faces and names). We got to find out that Richard is actually Ricardo, that Richard will never die, and that he thinks the island is hell. Friggin sweet! Everything seems to be coming together in a way that is only moderately unpredictable. The wine bottle scene was dope! Apparently, the island is not hell, just the cork that’s holding hell back. WHAT?!
When this series is over, I’m going to be so bummed. I hope they make a spin-off or something that will keep everything going (highly unlikely, I’m sure). We still need to find out who will be the new keeper of the funk, and what caused Jacob and the Man in Black to get stuck on the island in the first place, who is good, and who is evil (I think they’re going to make Jacob evil, but who knows).. I’ve heard that they’re going to pull some Cain and Abel type of shniz on us. It’s definitely going to be something biblical because they make a lot of reference to hell, sin, the devil, etc.
Wurd!

Ok, call me an idiot, but I don’t know what’s going to happen with Healthcare now that it’s going to be reformed. Someone told me about the preexisting conditions changes, and those sound pretty cool. I know that NO Republicans voted for it, and most Democrats voted for it, but yet the news has been telling me all day that this is a bi-partisan bill, and that it was a “sweep” even though it was only separated by less than 10 votes. Ummm, yeah, a “sweep” is the same thing as a “shut-out” right? So, the Dianne Sawyer just fed me a load of turds because she thinks that I can’t read.
I’m not quite sure what to think about this. I support anything that makes society better, so cool. Some people are really upset about this, and others are really happy, so there seems to be no common ground. Someone tell me what’s wrong with this bill besides that it will cost taxpayers a lot of money. I’m all ears.
