I don’t typically write about stuff like this, but right now, I just need a few minutes to vent and bring things back into perspective. I need to restore Buddha Peace in my life, and this series is going to help me do that. Thank you for bearing with me!
Begin buddha peace restoration mind dump in… 3… 2.. 1.
First Thing’s First:
If you support Donald Trump, this post is probably going to piss you off, so you may want to stop reading now. For the rest of us, I’m hoping to create a dialog. This (hopefully) will make us feel a little better about the unknown that is now officially at our doorstep.
I’d like to start off by saying: If you voted for Trump, YOU SUCK! I mean this in the nicest way possible. I’m sure most of you are decent people, fed up with the status quo, and just wanted a little change. Well, change is a comin’, but I don’t think it’s the change you’re expecting. It’s not like there were any good choices beyond the primaries, but TRUMP!?
We are now 4 days away from the Inauguration of Donald J. Trump for #POTUS. My anxiety is through the roof. We’re literally going from one of the most compassionate President’s we’ve ever seen (Barack Obama), to a guy who insults ANYONE who doesn’t share Donald Trump’s love for Donald Trump.
Why I PERSONALLY Don’t Like Trump:
Before you stamp my forehead and call me a “Liberal”, please understand that I am not saying anything because it’s politically popular, and I’m DEFINITELY NOT taking sides, or speaking in a myopic binary sense of “us versus them”. It’s not like that at all. I truly believe that Donald Trump is not the right person for this job.
I’m not going to go into a lot of detail, because all of this information is verifiable. If I say something that maybe you haven’t heard about, go Google it.
Reason 1) He doesn’t take criticism well: Over the past few years, we’ve seen the Don lash out at anyone who questions anything he does. He doesn’t care who it is, handicapped writers, women, men, black, white, etc. If you dare challenge him, he will jump on twitter and call you a failure, even if it’s a straight up lie.
Breathe friends, Buddha Peace is around the corner.
Reason 2) He doesn’t want the job: He has made it very clear that he will not be doing the job of the POTUS. He is hiring people to do everything for him, including some sketchy advisors to run, pretty much, every aspect of his office. The dude doesn’t even trust the CIA.
Reason 3) He’s never been held responsible for anything he’s done: Over the past 2 months, Donald Trump has settled a few court cases with no admission of guilt. These cases include: Child Rape, Racketeering, Fraud, and so on. Everything has been settled, not because he’s innocent, but because people can be bought.
Reason 4) He’s a superficial jerk: There are countless examples of Trump associating looks with success. A few years ago, he called Rosie O’Donnell a “fat pig”, and his lemmings jumped on the bandwagon. He insulted Carly Fiorina’s face on several occasions, and he even said that he hopes his daughter grows up to be well endowed (talking about an infant’s breasts). He’s weird, folks.
Reason 5) He’s a sexual monster: “Grab em by the pussy!” – Nuf Said. Actually, no, there are hundreds of stories about Drumpf making UNWANTED sexual advances toward women. Keep in mind, that most of them were made toward young women between the ages of 13-16. This dude even said he would date his own daughter if they weren’t related.
Reason 6) He doesn’t represent the kind of country I want to live in: His pro-Russia, anti-Islamic rhetoric is scary as fuck. And the problem is, he doesn’t realize how scary it is, because he doesn’t understand the way things work. I’m not saying I’m an expert, by any means, but he literally doesn’t know shit. THIS ARTICLE SHOULD SCARE THE SHIT OUT OF YOU.
Ok, I don’t feel like listing any more reasons, there are literally too many to count, and I feel like I’m beating a dead horse. I’m providing perspective. Buddha Peace will come..
So.. I still haven’t figured out where I will find buddha peace quite yet. Maybe there is comfort in knowing that things are out of our control, and whatever happens, happens. I don’t like that though. I’d feel much better knowing that there’s a checks-and-balances equalizer in place to prevent Trump from starting a nuclear circle jerk with Putin.
I can’t seem to shake the anxiety, so I’ll see if the next installment of the “Buddha Peace Restoration Project” can get us there. I’m done talking about Trump. That was exhausting.
