Ok, so earlier today, I was updating Twitter when someone I follow posted a tweet about his friends “Life List”. I asked him what a life list was, and he explained that it’s the same thing as a bucket list. So after I googled what a bucket list was, I was inspired to create my own life list (you can search twitter for #lifelist to see what I have so far).
So, I posted 35 things that I wanted to do, but I don’t think that’s enough. I know that I have at least another 4 or 5 HUNDRED more things to accomplish in life. I don’t want to waste any time regurgitating what was on the Twitter List, so I’ll give you a rundown of a few of my personal favorites along with a brief explanation.
10) Get jumped into a Mexican Gang – You know, at first I was hesitant. I’ve always been on the fence with this topic. I mean, on one hand- I’m not mexican. On the other hand, who says that you have to be mexican to be in one of their gangs. Plus, my love of the phrase, “Vatos Locos Foreeever” far outweighs any risk of serious injury, so it’s on the list.
14) Light water on fire and put it out with gasoline – Ok, so this one is just awesome. Sure there are many ways it could go wrong, but if successfully executed, this would rewrite everything as we know it.
20) Find out why pirates and parrots are synonymous with each other – You can’t tell me that I’m the only person who wants to know this. First reason, there are no parrots in Somalia. Second, there are no parrots in Viking land. Parrots are from South America and I have yet to see a Brazillion Pirate. I fyou want to know what I think about this, then here it goes. Some dude who was either deaf or stupid probably referred to one, and someone thought he meant the other, and history was made.
26) Buy a monkey and spank it – Ok, this would just be funny to talk about. Friend calls: “Hey Nick, what are you doing tonight” I reply: “what am I ALWAYS doing? I’m spanking my monkey…” Good times.
28) Catch the Swine Flu – I just want to see what all the fuss is about. Plus, if I want to join a Mexican gang, this will get me one step closer to fitting in.
Ok, so that is the short version of my list. There is a lot more to do (ie. learn to ride a unicycle) and so little time. I will tell you when I do everything on this list. By the way, I will be legally changing my name to Weenis later next week.

Ok, so the title is true. I used to be a rapper. I was one side of the ‘Liquid Syndicate’ Duo from Phoenix. We were a hip hop group for 7 or 8 years, and we gave it up for kids and families. I would say it was a good trade off (except I can’t shout curse words at my children).
