Nick Norris is a web developer, graphic designer, marketing analyst, and musician from Phoenix, Arizona. Nick has been in the industry since the early days of web development, starting with basic HTML and CSS websites. Nowadays, Nick is the jack-of-all-trades, boasting over 1000 event flyers designed, 400 websites designed, and over $15MM of marketing dollars managed under his belt. Nick Norris has a breadth of experience, so feel free to ask questions in the comments.
Aside from his career, Nick Norris is the proud father of 2 handsome boys: Noah and TJ. Both “little dudes” aspire to follow in Nick’s footsteps both in web/graphic design and in music. Noah (11) plays the saxophone, piano, and is currently learning how to play the steel drum (earplugs please!). TJ (9) is learning how to code HTML/CSS/JS, and currently edits youtube intros and videos for himself and his friends.
Nick Norris is a huge fan of hip hop music, and started a live event series called, “The Hip Hop House” where him and his collective “Nomad Hip Hop” book artists to perform once a month. Nick has been producing hip hop music for 23 years, and has shared the stage with legends like: Ghostface Killah, Xzibit, The Demigodz (Apathy and Celph Titled), Gift of Gab, Copywrite, RoQy TyRaiD, Grand Agent, and many more. People often ask Nick why he still makes music, and the answer is simple, “Because I love music, and hip hop is the best..”
If you’re wondering what this blog is about, that’s a great question. It used to be titled, “Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Awesomeness” – so I think we’ll stick with that. There will be plenty of content for people who love music, tech nerds, and maybe some parenting tips (Lol). For the most part, the blog will be ranty, entertaining, and hopefully educational whenever possible. Nick just wants to start sharing his life with the people who choose to follow him.
